The Musician Association of Ghana (MUSIGA) today, 24th July paid a courtesy call on legendary Ghanaian rapper Jerry Anaba known in Showbiz as Okomfo Kwadee at the Willing Ways foundation, a rehabilitation center owned by Mrs. Lydia Abena Manu. The rapper has been there for close to 5 years receiving treatment.
After Ghpage.com reported about Okomfo Kwadee being at the rehabilitation center situated in Kumasi Kwamo near Ejisu for years, Ras Caleb Appiah-Levi, MUSIGA Chairman of Greater-Accra reached out and promised to do a fact-finding mission to ascertain the true state of the rapper.

Well, the MUSIGA team led by Ras Caleb Appiah-Levi visited Okomfo Kwadee today. Other members of the 24 member team were, Bless Boateng, Bobo Ranking, Treble Lion, Haruna Yakubu, Lady Cee, Ghpage.com and others.
Madam Lydia Abena Manu, Kwadee and other members of the team welcome the team and expressed how happy they were receiving the delegation.
Ras Caleb Appiah-Levi, MUSIGA Chairman of Greater-Accra presented bottles of water (Awake mineral water), as well as nonalcoholic beverages from Kasapreko, limited to Okomfo Kwadee and the Willing Ways foundation.

Okomfo Kwadee explained that he is now better and has currently been made an ambassador to campaign against drug abuse mainly among the youth.
He expressed his gratitude to MUSIGA for not abandoning him but coming to check up on him to see how he is doing.
He also extended his gratitude to Kasapreko limited. Kwadee revealed he will be coming out with a song soon now that he is better so Ghanaians should watch out.
On her part, Mrs. Lydia Abena Manu, the owner of the foundation thanked the delegation and revealed the foundation has been in existence for the past 8 years.
And over the years, they have worked towards educating the youth against drug abuse. Currently, the foundation has launched “Say No To Tramadol Campaign”.

They have also acquired a bigger land to build more structures in order to accommodate more people who need help to fight their drug addictions.
Madam Lydia Abena Manu called on Ghanaians and international bodies to come to her aid.
As it stands now, Okomfo Kwadee the hitmaker of dozens of songs including ” Meko maap3, Ahwedie Abena, and others” is mentally fit and he will be back in the music scene shortly.
