Gospel minister, Brother Sammy last year made it clear that not only circular musicians are capable of beefing in the Ghana Music industry as he took a stand with fellow Gospel artist Ernest Opoku.

The Gospel artist were also at each other’s throat but in a new interview, Brother Sammy has stated that the popular and heated enmity that was witnessed by many music lovers from his camp and that of the camp of his colleague in the gospel music fraternity, Ernest Opoku was intentionally planned to gain some media hype for songs they were about to release.

In the interview he had with Multimedia’s MzGee, Sammy noted that it is very difficult to penetrate with a song in the Ghana music industry especially when you are not financially inclined and engaging in anything that will make you trend on social media is one of the cheapest way to promote new music.

According to him, a probable amount of Gh100,000 or more is needed to push the music and having no such money, the easiest way is to set a trend and get the needed hype for the song you are about to release.

During their beef, Brother Sammy, the self-acclaimed ‘Nation’s Worshiper’ ]made damning allegations against not just Gospel artist Ernest Opoku but also against Cecilia Marfo.

According to Brother Sammy, Ernest Opoku wants to kill him and Cecilia Marfo supports him. Explaining his statement, Brother Sammy revealed he has been suspicious of their ill intent towards him for some time now because of some actions of the duo towards him.
