7-year-old winner of the TV3 talented Kids seasoned 10, Nakeeya Dramani has been appointed the Ambassador for Sanitation and Water Resources by the ministry of Sanitation and Water Resources.
Nakeeyat Dramani will be the Ambassador for Sanitation and Water Resources of Ghana for the next two years.
The minister for Sanitation, Hon. Cecilia Abena Dapaah who bestowed the ambassadorial title on the Talented Kids winner praised her for achievements as the winner. Nakeeyat Dramani, in turn, recited a poem she had composed for sanitation in Ghana to the minister.
Sharing the news of her appointment on their social media page, The ministry wrote:
The Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources, Hon. Cecilia Abena Dapaah today received the 7-year-old girl Nakeeyat Abdul Dramamine Sam at her office.
Dramamine Sam was the winner of the Talented Kids Season 10 contest organized by TV3 to instill into the young ones a sense of nationalism and patriotism towards nation building.
Dramamine Sam composed a poem on the environment and sanitation which was adjudged the best out of the 24 contestants who participated in the competition.
She was invited to the ministry today by the sector minister Hon Cecilia Abena Dapaah who was personally delighted to see the little girl taking such initiatives to promote the national sanitation campaign.
Subsequently, the Hon minister bestowed on her the Sanitation Ambassador of the Ministry for two years. The Ministry will support all her sanitation activities for the next two years. A citation was presented to her by the Minister to appreciate her hard work.
