Day in and Day out customers of now embattled Gold investment company Menzgold owned by Nana Appiah Mensah aka NAM 1 pray and hope for his release from his Dubai cells so he can come back to Ghana and pay his customers.

Looks like their prayers are not strong enough because NAM 1 keeps on getting into different trouble whenever there seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel.

A new report coming from Dubai has it that Ghanaians and aggrieved Menzgold customers would have to continue waiting for a long time since NAM 1 is not coming back to the country anytime soon.

According to an Interpol source, fresh local cases have been brought against NAM 1 in Dubai and until those cases are done and dealt with there is no way NAM 1 would be repatriated to Ghana.

Early last month after the Dubai court ruling, there was wild jubilation among customers of the company following news of his acquittal of criminal charges in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) where he has been in detention for months over a bad deal.

Even though he won the case against Horizon Royal Diamonds he was however not given his freedom because Interpol which was acting on a red alert notice issued earlier by Ghana is keeping him and is yet to officially communicate with its counterparts in Ghana.

Latest details emerging from the oil-rich country reveals that apart from the fact that the Emirati gold company that caused his arrest has appealed the court’s decision, other cases have been lodged against him.

“He has other local cases to be dealt with before he can be released to Ghana”, the source confirmed.
