Nana Appiah Mensah denied bail by the Ghana Police

Reports reaching Ghpage.com has confirmed that Nana Appiah Mensah, the embattled CEO of Menzgold who was picked up by the Ghana Police upon his arrival at the Kotoka international airport today, 11th July 2019 has been denied bail by the Ghana Police Service.

According to the reports, the lawyers of Nana Appiah Mensah aka NAM1 did all the could but the police administration refused to grant their client, NAM1 a bail.

The police further revealed they are preparing Nana Appiah Mensah for court tomorrow, Friday, 12 July 2019 for the court to decide his fate. Nana Appiah Mensah has been charged with “defrauding by false pretense and money laundering”.

This is his first time of arriving in Ghana since December 2018 when he was arrested in Dubai and charged with fraud.

He won his court case against Horizon Royal Diamonds Ltd and was awarded his $39 million he is owed by the Dubai company. Although the company appealed the ruling, NAM1 won again.

NAM1 arrived in Ghana from Dubai via an Emirates 787 flight from Dubai with Dubai Interpol Officers and he was handed over to Ghana Interpol due to the red alert issued for his arrest by the Ghana Police in 2018.
