Nana Aba Anamoah Says There Is No Trouble Going On At EIB

Nana Aba Anamoah finally breaks silence on the TV3 controversy - Says she is happy it happened

Award-winning broadcast journalist, Nana Aba Anamoah, has debunked rumors of trouble occupying the Excellence In Broadcasting (EIB) Network of companies after a move of some popular personalities to other stations.

With two popular personalities jumping consecutively and moving to different stations, people have wondered what exactly is going on the media house.

The whole issue commenced with AJ Sarpong who exited EIB, choosing to move to Citi FM to host their Morning Show. Then Naa Ashorkor Doku Mensah came back from her leave and almost immediately left too to join Joy FM.

Also, GHOne news anchor Kemini Amanor also made her intention to leave GHOne and move to TV3 public, although when the day arrived it was announced that she would no longer move but had rather decided to stay at GHOne.

According to popular reports at the time, it was said that Bola Ray, CEO of EIB, was involved and convinced Kemini to stay.

Talking on the issue on board, Nana Aba Anamoah who works with GHOne, a brand under the EIB group of companies, has responded and said that everything is going just well at GHOne.

She said, “Actually, all is well at GHOne. There is nothing wrong here. People are at liberty to move when they feel they have to”.

Furtherly, she added ‘she’s not the type to stop anyone from leaving her outfit if the person feels that their time has come. Everyone has different ambitions, and that if going somewhere else may help someone’s career there’s no reason to stop the person.

Talking about AJ Sarpong’s move, she made it clear that the move would help her since having a master in journalism – she would get to do more journalistic work as compared to the more lifestyle/entertainment oriented work she did with GHOne.

However, Anamoah went on to say that those who left didn’t leave on a bad note and that they were glad for them.
