Ghanaian businessman and millionaire, Ibrah One reacting to this commended the government under Akufo Addo for his actions towards preventing the spread of the Coronavirus.
He, however, charged President Akufo Addo to free prisoners since a large number of prisoners crowded in a location pose a severe threat to themselves due to the Covid-19.
He took to his Instagram story to share a few words.
“I salute Nana Addo for taking this decision of suspending schools and all public gatherings until further notice.
This is one of his best decisions ever since he took overpower.
But I’ll love to suggest that all prisoners who’re spending their jail time must also be freed to go home for now and come back later to continue their terms when things cool down.
We all know the conditions in those prisons. If the virus should break out now, they’ll all die in a matter of days.
Prisoners are also humans, so they have the right to be freed as a preventive measure against the coronavirus.”
