Nana Ama McBrown Joins Campaign Against The Use Of Tramadol

Actress Nana Ama McBrown has added her voice to the call against the use of Tramadol (an opioid pain medication used to treat moderate to moderately severe pain) among the youth which is destroying them.

Reports in recent times suggest that the drug is ruining the lives of many young Ghanaians and that has gingered some celebrities to campaign against it. Gh One news anchor Nana Aba Anamoah and her team started the campaign against the drug abuse months back which has received appraisal from many respectable personalities in the country.

Some celebrities including the likes of Shatta Wale, Fancy Gadam, and few other Ghanaian entertainers have also added their voices to the campaign against the drug abuse and the latest celebrity to join her colleagues in the campaign is screen goddess, Nana Ama McBrown.

The actress speaking on Celebrity Ride with Zionfelix show pleaded with the youth to desist from the misuse of the medicine. The actress cum TV presenter opined that she would not have been a superstar if she abused drugs when starting her career as an actress.

Mrs. Mensah further disclosed that she was surprised to be informed about the rate at which the youth has been abusing the drug in the past months.

After asking Ghanaians to desist from the abuse of the painkiller, McBrown also advised them to be careful with the friends they walk with since they are mostly influencing them to engage in this illicit act.
