On the 30th of January 2013, popular Ghanaian actress, Nana Ama McBrown with her boyfriend Maxwell got involved in a horrific car accident on the George Walker bush highway at Lapaz —a suburb of Accra Wednesday morning around 2 am which nearly cost her life and the hand.
However, she has revealed in an emotional interview how she rescued her right hand after the gory accident four years ago.
In an interview with Stacy Amoateng, she explained that she could not feel her right hand only to find it hanging between her seat.
“I quickly pulled it, pushed back the broken bone and held my wrist to ensure I don’t lose mobility in my fingers,” she said.
Nana Ama McBrown said, she has had two surgeries already and expecting to go through a third one and added that, still has a surgical steel in her arm.
According to Nana Ama, that has affected her work because she has decided not to do some roles because of the hand and even aside from that cant hold a bucket of water with her right hand.
They were going to shoot a music video with Hiplife group Praye when they had the accident. Even years after, Nana Ama McBrown said has still not been able to forgive Praye especially Big J who never visited after the incident.
