According to the former minister for Gender, Children and social protection under the erstwhile John Mahama Administration, Madam Nana Oye Lithur, contrary to the accusations from her ex-husband that she used his $33,000 to do surgery in the USA to reduce her weight and reshape her body. She gained her current body shape through rigorous exercise and a good diet.

Nana Oye Litthur in a Facebook post revealed that she was put on a diet by a professional who studied her blood group and suggested a diet. She was also put through tough exercise and that is how she has lost so much weight and looks healthy now.

The respected female politician promised to share some few tips on how to eat and look healthy. Her post made rubbish of claims from her husband that she went under the knife to achieve her current body shape.

A few months ago, a petition from NDC renowned Lawyer Tony Lithur to the divorce court seeking a divorce from his wife, Madam Nana Oye Lithur surfaced in the media.

As part of his grievances, Tony Lithur accused the wife of overeating leading to a bloated body that she felt ashamed of. Later, she went for a surgery to reshape her figure and to look more attractive.

Tony Lithur claims the surgery cost him $33,000. It was one of the many reasons he cited to the court for a divorce. The wife also revealed Tony Lithur is a womanizer and he is falsely accusing her just because she does not tolerate it.
