Nana Oye Lithur Reacts To Her Husband’s Accusations

In the past 24 hours, a lot of things have been heard from one of the popular family of lawyers in Ghana, the Lithurs.

It all started when news broke online that Tony Lithur has filed for divorce against his wife, Madam Nana Oye Lithur.

Tony Lithur is one of the main lawyers who led NDC to victory in the 2012 Election petition filed by Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

Nana Oye Lithur is equally a prominent lawyer in Ghana. She was the Minister for Gender, Children, and Social Protection under the John Mahama administration. She has been married to Tony Lithur for the past 27 years.

In the divorce petition filed Tony Lithur, among other things he accused the wife of having multiple s*xual partners. He also revealed Nana Oye Lithur is very violent towards him and other family members.

Nana Oye Lither has finally responded to her husband’s numerous allegations against her. According to her, it’s “Unfortunate that a private family matter should now become a subject of public discussion”.

More importantly, Nana Oye Lithur revealed that all the allegations are lies and she is trusting the legal system and God to vindicate her.
