The NDC has given a brand new Honda Accord car to Evangelist Aning, the singer of the popular gospel song “Borborliborbor”.
The party used the gift to compensate the singer for using his song for their delegates’ congress.

According to Aning, the party never informed him prior to making their own rendition of his song, therefore, he called on them for compensation.
This is contained in a report sighted by on Myjoyonline.com. Aning also noted that the act was a breach of copyright laws, therefore, he gave the NDC reason to compensate him.

He further refuted claims that the party gave him cash together with the car.
Aning explained that money would not help him in the long term, therefore, he requested for the car to help him in his ministry.
Borborliborbor has been nominated in the Gospel Song of the Year and the Popular Song of the Year categories in the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
