Singer Nana Akua Amoah, popularly known as Mzbel has revealed that her career has taken a nosedive ever since the NPP took over from the NDC.

The 38-year-old is a staunch supporter of the largest opposition party N DC and fiercely campaigned for the party and former president John Mahama during the 2016 election, but unfortunately, they lost to the NPP.

The “16 years old” hitmaker who was upset with members National Democratic Congress (NDC) for refusing to show her love after she was temporarily stuck in bed after her recent accident at Labadi Beach in Accra has revealed that campaigning for Mahama and the NDC has adversely affected her career.

According she used to get the opportunity to play corporate shows but all have not been coming since she pledged to support the NDC in the 2016 general elections.

“Before the removal of NDC from power, I used to play a lot of cooperative organisational gigs. There were some banks, hotels, etc, I used to play gigs for them on yearly basis. Sadly, after the change of government, those in the various positions who used to give me the deals have all been removed and some transferred to different places. This has really affected my music career,” she said.
