Celebrated Ghanaian gospel musician, Diana Asamoah has revealed a surprising incident that occurred sometime in her regarding marriage.
According to Diana Asamoah, in an interview on Okay Fm’s “Best Entertainment” show, she nearly struck a woman with her Bible, because she came all the way from Accra to find her to inform her that, God has directed her to give Diana Asamoah to her pastor.
Diana Asamoah then stated that most pastors in Ghana are responsible for the ruin of some gospel artists.
”Most men of God in Ghana are liars and they have ruined the lives of gospel musicians in Ghana. Look at what happened to Joyce Blessing. I will be rude to you if I feel you are telling me lies. If not for the Grace of God, I would have ended up like her.” she stated.
She added that the woman’s proclamation got her pissed off that she threatened to hit her head with the Holy Bible.
Halifax, the host of the show who was in shock at her statements questioned her why she needed to do that and Diana Asamoah replied stating she didn’t want to be a victim of fraud.
”Most female gospel musicians mistakenly think they must marry a pastor to make themselves feel good. The fact that he is roaming about preaching the word of God doesn’t qualify him to be a pastor”. Diana added.
