BET award-winner and rapper, Micheal Owusu Addo professionally known as Sarkodie has revealed on Twitter that he needs to meet the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo Addo to discuss economic matters.
He stated that ‘things are hard’ in the country and he needs to meet the President to discuss that else he will record an ‘Advice’ for the Government.
“I need one on one with the President and people in power to have a convo on the economy if there’s is a long-term plan that is causing the hardship now or things are hard for no reason…else inflation X Masses Part 2“, he tweeted.
Rapper Sarkodie released some songs dubbed “Inflation” and “Masses” a few years ago to touch on serious national issues.
Last week, he took to Twitter to discuss the poor leadership in Africa in a series of post which also received some backlash.
According to Sarkodie, dictatorship could be the solution to Africa’s problem.
“What we need at this point might seem like a dictatorship and will feel uncomfortable since we have enjoyed temporal freedom for a minute, but we need drastic measures to survive”, he tweeted.
