5 new Ghanaian artistes expected to ‘blow’ in 2019

Ghana realised some amazing talents in 2018 which influenced the music industry positively. These artists worked tirelessly to release hit songs that put Ghana on the map.

This year, 2019 promises not to be an exception as there are talented and extraordinary artists that are ready to take the Ghana Music Industry to the next level.

Below are some new Ghanaian artistes that are expected to ‘blow’ in 2019;

Kwesi Slay

Kwesi Slay started 2018 on a very good note by releasing an inspirational song with Kwesi Arthur dubbed ‘Seven’.

He also dropped an EP which featured Wanlov The Kubolor, Cabum and Kojo Cue. This year promises to good one for him as fans are expecting more from him.

Mr Drew

Mr Drew is the MTN Hitmaker Season 6, 1st Runner up and he is signed to Highly Spiritual Music Record Label.

He released a song titled ‘Gimme Love’ in 2018 and was loved by many and also received massive airplay.

We are expecting more hit songs from Mr Drew in 2019 and we hope he lives up to expectations.

Freda Rhymz

Freda Baffour Awuah, known in showbiz circles as Freda Rhymz is seen as the queen of rap in Ghana.

She was the winner of the MTN Hitmaker Season 6 and known for songs like ‘I DEY GO’ and ‘JAMMIN’ which she released in 2018.

2019 is expected to be a fruitful year in her career and more is expected from the Black Avenue Muzik signee.

She is the youngest artist signed onto the Black Avenue Muzik record label and in 2018, she released a hit single dubbed ‘Odo Yewu’ which received massive airplay.

She, therefore, ended 2018 with another single titled ‘Pepper’ which featured Bisa K’dei. 2019 promises to be a good year.

Tulenkey

Tulenkey is a record producer and rapper who released his own rendition of Cardi B’s ‘I LIKE THAT’ and featured Medikal.

He also got featured on Sarkodie’s ‘Biibi ba’ and also released a song dubbed ‘Proud F*CK BOYS’ which featured Eddie Khae.

2018 was a good year for him but he is expected to rise to the top in 2019 with hit songs.
