Kumawood actress and social media sensation popularly known as Xandy Kamel has opined that there is no celebrity in Ghana.
According to the controversial actress, people like Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy and others are not celebrities but public figures.

“There is no celebrity in Ghana. What are they even being celebrated for? People like Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Sarkodie and the others are public figures and not celebrities”, Xandy Kamel.

Xandy Kamel also added that people like President Nana Akufo Addo, Otumfour Osei Tutu, Kofi Annan and media personality Abeiku Santana can be regarded as celebrities.
According to her, these people are worth celebrating because of the authority and power which they possess.
She also added that they are worth celebrating for always promoting and projecting Ghana in a good light.
Xandy Kamel made this statement in an exclusive interview with GhPage Tv in reacting to the missing three Takoradi girls.
She stated that these ‘so-called celebrities are silent over it while they can use their influence to put the authorities on their toes to find the missing girls.
