Nollywood actor Ramsey Nouah names his Favorite Ghanaian Musicians
Nollywood actor Ramsey Nouah born Ramsey Tokunbo Nouah Jr and on the 19 December 1970 has has named his favorite veteran and contemporary artiste he loves to watch and listen to their music.
Ramsey Nouah who visited Ghana last weekend to premiered his movie.Ramsey has successfully premiered his latest movie dubbed ‘76’ and so far has premiered it so many Africa country.
In an interview with Kwesi Dope of Spyderlee Entertainment TV on the programme “The Brunch” Ramsey stated :I love to listen to Ghanaian indigenous and contemporary music.
When he was asked which Ghanaian music does he listen very often? He answered, I love to listen to late Tommy Wiredu songs, Ofori Amponsah and Daddy Lumba the “yentia obiaa” hit maker.
He didn’t there but added that, with the contemporary artistes he love to also listen to Sarkodie and award winning dancehall act Samini.
Nouah was born in Edo State to an Israeli father and a Yoruba mother who hails from Owo, Ondo State. He grew up in Surulere, Lagos, where he attended Atara Primary School and Community Grammar School.
He obtained a diploma at the University of Lagos, after which he pursued a career in acting.
Nouah’s acting career kicked off when he starred in the Nigerian TV soap opera Fortunes. Nouah has since then appeared in numerous films starring as the lead role.
He has been called “Lover-Boy”for his numerous roles in romantic film. In 2010 Nouah won the African Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his performance in the Best Picture award winning film The Figurine. Nouah is considered to be one of the most sought-after actors in Nigeria.
