Burniton Music Signee, Barbara Naa Okailey Nyarko popularly known as OV has refuted claims that she is hiding in Stonebwoy’s shadow.
According to the winner of MTN Hitmaker Season 7, she participated in the competition without Stonebwoy and won.
In an interview with Deloris Frimpong Manso, the musician stated that she can stand without Stonebwoy.
She also stated that the “Ololo” hitmaker always gives them the platform to express themselves and also helps them nurture their talents.
“I am not hiding behind Stonebwoy. When I participated in MTN Hitmaker, I didn’t go with Stonebwoy. I went alone and won so I can stand without Stonebwoy.
Stonebwoy always doesn’t want us hiding in his shadow. He leads us and watches how you can handle yourself”, OV stated.
The 20-year old musician also denied reports she is a lesbian, indicating that she is normally tagged as such due to her mode of dressing.
OV accepted that she is a Tomboy but has never had any sexual or romantic relationship with a woman.
