It has been suggested that the BET winner, Stonebwoy has outshined Samini when it comes to dancehall music but Samini does not agree to this assertion.
“No! Not at all. That is not possible. Stonebwoy is not a threat to my superiority and career. I am not threatened in any way by him. It is good competition for the emergence of several other musicians within the genres of music that he does. I am challenged by my own achievements and by myself and not other artistes”, he stated.
Samini was recently installed as the Pibilii Naa (King of the Little Rocks) by the Wa Na, Paramount Chief of Wa in the Upper West Region.
His seventh album dubbed “Untamed” was recently listed among the 10 best reggae albums on the World Billboard Chart.
