Kennedy Ohene Agyapong the Member of Parliament for Assin Central in the Western Region has quit active police over how his party, the ruling New Patriotic Party treats him.
According to Kennedy Agyapong, he sacrifices for the party every possible way he can but the party discards and treats him with contempt after they have used him to fight their ‘wars’.

Kennedy Agyapong explained that the party allows him to be vilified and insulted after he is done doing their bids. Kennedy Aguapong cited how he was disgraced when he was dragged before the privileges committee of parliament as a case in point.
The maverick member of parliament revealed that NPP sent someone to his home around 9:00 pm when Anas released his explosive exposé which complicated the NPP party.

He left his bed and moved from one media station to the other defending the party with his wife yet the party does not appreciate his efforts so he is done.
He has vowed never to contest his parliamentary seat again and neither will he be engaged in active politics. The member of parliament claims politics is not the only way he can serve his people.
