Popular actor and NDC sympathizer Clement Bonney aka Mr Beautiful has accused former President John Agyekum Kuffour and the NPP for causing the collapse of popular Key Soap concert party in the country.
According to him, during the old days ‘Key Soap Concert Party’ was the talk of the town but after fmr. President Kuffour took charge of the country, he messed the much-loved drama show up.
He stated that he appointed one lady identified as Eva Lokko as the director of Ghana Broadcasting Corporation(GBC) and that was where the problem started.
He said: “When President Kufuor came he collapsed Concert Party. Do you know what he did? When Former President Kufuor took over, he appointed a certain woman called Eva Lokko at GBC”.
Mr. Beautiful went on to say upon assumption as the director for GBC, Eva Lokko doubled the doubled the sponsorship money for Concert Party and that made the main sponsor for the programme lose interest and left the scene.
He, however, applauded the likes of Kutu Acheampong whom he revealed housed some film actors and producers.
He added that Former President Jerry John Rawlings also contributed by building the National Theatre.
