NPP’s Kwabena Agyepong loses mother

Mrs. Comfort Agyepong, mother of former NPP scribe Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, has passed away at age 92.

She died on February 18, 2025, as announced by her son in an emotional Facebook post on Sunday, February 23.

He described her as a “pillar of strength, love, and resilience,” Kwabena Agyepong noted that she now rests with his late dad, Justice Kwadwo Agyei Agyepong, one of the three High Court judges murdered in 1981 under the PNDC regime.

Funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course.

Mrs. Agyepong’s demise marks the end of an era for a family deeply tied to Ghana’s political and judicial history.
