21-year-old Ayeshetu Abubakar, a level 200 Nursing Student of KAAF University in Kasoa was kidnapped by her ex-boyfriend on Saturday 8th June 2019, locked her in a hotel room and severally sexually abused her until the following evening, Sunday 9th June 2019.
From what we have gathered, Ayeshetu is on vacation and she is currently doing her clinical as expected of nursing trainees at Dr. Kwaku Afriyie’s hospital, Green Shield at Sefwi Bekwai in Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai District.
The family who lodged an official complaint with police explain that they called Ayeshetu Abubakar’s mobile which she answered but she was weeping on the phone. Moments later the phone went off and could not be reached.
They got the impression something was wrong and informed the police who immediately launched in an investigation to trace her whereabouts.
The police visited the family on Sunday, 9th June and found the Ayeshetu Abubakar at home with a swollen face. Upon interrogation, she revealed that it was her ex-boyfriend, one Frederick Kwame Acquah who abducted her.

According to Ayeshetu, she had closed from work when she received a call from her ex-boyfriend who wanted to meet and discuss something with her at Sefwi Atronsu.
She met him there but he requested that they should go to a guest house in the area called Justice Guest House for privacy.
At the guest house, Frederick Kwame Acquah locked the guest room and assaulted her several times. She also raped her countless times.
He refused to release her until the following day. The police have mounted a search for Frederick Kwame Acquah who is on the run.
