Obour appointed as General Manager of Ghana Post

President Akufo-Addo has appointed popular musician Bice Osei Kuffour, also known as Obour, to the position of Managing Director of Ghana Post Company Limited.

The former MUSIGA CEO will serve as interim CEO until he is substantively confirmed. 

According to Asaase Radio, Obuor’s role is to oversee the expansion of the company’s postal network to viable areas as well as the improvement of service to non-viable areas.

Bice Osei Kuffour served as President of the Musicians Union of Ghana for eight years, from October 2011 to August 2019. During that time, he successfully energized the Union and created initiatives such as the Ageing Musicians Welfare Fund (AMWEF), Musiga Academy with NAFTI, Ajumapa loans, and Musiga Grandball, which received patronage from all sitting Ghanaian presidents.
