Obour lambasts organizers of the AFRIMA awards

The President of Musicians Union of Ghana, Bice Osei Kufuor popularly known as Obour has poured his anger on the organisers of All African Music Awards (AFRIMA) 2018 which was organized in Ghana.

According to Obour in an interview with Andu Dosty on Hitz FM registered his great displeasure about how the event was organized as himself(Obour) many industry players feel Ghana was hugely ‘sidelined’ by the organizers.

“Beyond the glamour, how the industry benefits depend on the organizers of such events. The bottom-line is involving people fully. I was not happy about Ghana’s representation at AFRIMA. I think going forward, AFRIMA should involve MUSIGA in her affairs”, Obour said in the interview.

The 2018 version of All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) successfully took place at the Accra International Conference Centre with an awards celebration.

The famous awards which were folded with three days activities including a free concert on Thursday night at the Independence Square finally came off on Saturday, 24th of November at the country’s capital.
