Bice Osei Kuffuor aka Obour, the former president of Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) and aspiring NPP parliamentary candidate for Asante Akyem South Constituency despite the whole brouhaha that has followed his father’s death has honored him with a one-week commemoration service.
Obour’s father, Nana Osei Boansi Kuffour who is the Oyokohene of Juaso Traditional Area died at the Greater Accra Regional Hospital (Ridge Hospital) on 28th March 2020.
The service was held today, 13th April 2020. It’s exactly a week since his father died from Coronavirus after testing positive.
In order not to breach government directive on gathering and the lockdown directives, the service was held indoors.
Relatives and loved ones joined the service via an online application, Zoom. The service was held at Obour’s residence at East Legon.

There was controversy surrounding the death of Nana Osei Boansi Kuffour, who was the Oyokohene of Juaso Traditional Area after his son and family were said to have hidden his travel history.
He had apparently returned from the United Kingdom on Thursday, March 19 before being taken ill on Sunday, March 22.
He was awaiting results of his coronavirus test when he died at the Greater Accra Regional Hospital.

The Hospital was subsequently shut down and disinfected after the incident with some of the medical staff quarantined.
