Here is why Ohemaa Woyeje has resigned as Adom FM presenter

Ohemaa Woyeje, the awarding winning Adom FM presenter has resigned as Multimedia presenter effective today, 31st January 2019, Ghpage.com has confirmed.

After 6 years with the Multimedia group, Ohemaa Woyeje took a bow yesterday, Wednesday 30th January 2019. However, her official responsibilities with Adom FM came to an end today, Thursday 31st January 2019.

Breaking the news on his Instagram page, Ohemaa Woyeje who has won awards as the Best Female DJ on the radio on four occasions thanked the owner of Multimedia, Kwasi Twum, Ekyi Quarm, and Nana Apeanti, Mark Okraku and most of all his fans.

“My six year service with Adom FM – MGL has officially come to an end today 31st January 2019.
I thank God for gifting me a unique talent that made me survive this fulfilled journey and I pray He make me excel even beyond human understanding in my next radio chapter.
I thank the owner himself Kwasi Twum, one of a kind ? A boss to die for ? one I would have loved to work with a life time, for offering his platform and giving me the honor to serve Ghana and and the world through radio & tv.

I’m grateful for superiors like Ekyi Quarm and Nana Apeanti, not forgetting Mark Okraku and a Few others whose warmth gave a conducive office to work happily. To all the people whom I worked closely with as team mates & other colleagues at Mgl, I say tnx for being a part of my story.
The biggest love ? goes out to my cherished listeners. Those who followed me from Kumasi, through Sunyani and my days at Top Radio. To those who joined at Adom FM days and especially those who have assured me to continue to follow me wherever I go ? I just luv u.

In a detailed interview with the Graphic Showbiz, Ohemaa Woyeje explained that he handed over her resignation letter on 30th January 2019. According to her, multimedia management breached their contract with her and she had no choice but to leave.

“I took my vacation and returned in October. I resumed work and about an hour before I went on air, my boss sent me a Whatsapp message asking me to hand over the show to someone else, without any explanation.

“My contract of employment at Multimedia is as a presenter and per my job description, I’m to host, entertain and engage listeners with music and delivery but they breached the contract by assigning me new roles that have nothing to do with presenting such as field jobs and production work.

“My bosses took this decision alone, there was no prior notification or communication. I was not ready for these new roles so I have quit,” she is quoted to have said.

In the last few months, Adom FM has lost two high profiled presenters. First was Kofi Adoma Nwanwani and now Ohemaa Woyeje
