Barcelona is first place on the La Liga table thanks to a convincing 4-0 win over Real Sociedad on Sunday, fully dominating the match after an early red card for the visitors.
Aritz Elustondo’s 17th-minute red card made it easy for Barcelona to build a commanding lead, with Gerard Martin scoring the game’s first goal in the 25th minute.
Four minutes later, Marc Casado added the second goal. Barca bagged two more goals in the second half courtesy of Ronald Araujo and Robert Lewandowski.
Dani Olmo was the man of the match, providing an assist on the first two goals.
Real Sociedad only had a single shot and only had 25% ball possession at the end of the game.
Barca will be playing against Benfica as visitors in the UEFA Champions League round of 16 match on Wednesday. Afterwards they will return to their home country to play against Osasuna in the La Liga on Saturday.
