The boys’ dormitory of Oppong Memorial SHS in the Ashanti Region has been completely destroyed after fire gutted the building leaving the students displaced.
According to a source, no casualties were recorded as the students were all in class before the fire started.
It continued that several learning materials belonging to the school and the students got destroyed in the inferno.

The headmaster of the school Prince Charles in an interview stated that the situation has become a very big blow to the authorities as they were already facing accommodation problems before this happened.
