The burial of Queen Elizabeth II, the longest-reigning British monarch, has extended an official invitation to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
On September 8, 2022, Queen Elizabeth II passed away in Scotland’s Balmoral Castle.
She will be buried during a state funeral on September 19, 2022, according to the BBC.
CNN reports that several heads of state and other world leaders will be on the privileged guest list for Queen Elizabeth II’s royal burial.
The Asantehene, who has received a formal invitation from King Charles III, is one of these notable guests.
