Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah, the founder and general overseer of Glorious Word Power Ministry International has told people who criticise pastors and men of God who have bodyguards to shut up because even Jesus had 12 people who acted like his bodyguards.
According to Owusu Bempah, pastors need a lot of protection because they are prone to attacks from outsiders so it’s normal for pastors to have bodyguards.

Owusu Bempah explained that his own bodyguards have fought and saved him from a lot of attacks and attempts on his life, especially during the 2016 general elections.
The controversial man of God stated that Jesus’ bodyguard prevented an attacked on his life by cutting off the ear on an attacker when the situation demanded it so they are just taking the cue from Jesus Christ himself.

“Peter took a sword and cut-off somebody’s ear and Jesus told him to sheath his sword meaning that as they were following Jesus they were armed” he observed.
Reverend Owusu Bempah made these revelations in an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme
