Although prophecies are not set in stones that it can’t be changed, it appears most prophecies given by Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah, the founder of the Glorious Word Ministry in recent times keep missing its mark.
For the past 3 years, Owusu Bempha has been prophesying that a first lady of Ghana will die in each year he gives the prophecy. Yet here we are.
Ever since it was reported that the veteran Ghanaian Highlife Artist Jewel Ackah has passed on after battling sickness for years, it has sparked another debate about the authenticity of prophet Owusu Bempah’s Prophecies in recent times.
Ghpage.com can say on authority that Owusu Bempah prophesied in 2016 that both Jewel Ackah and Super OD will die in 2016. And the prophecy wasn’t a probability prophecy either. In an interview with Accra-based Adom FM on 1st January 2016 he said:
“When you say it then people would come on and insult you, but I must still tell that I saw calamity befalling this country as we entered 2016…in the entertainment industry, for instance, Super OD and Jewel Ackah would die,” he said.
Although both veterans were very sick at the time and near death, despite it being over the media, Owusu Bempah when question said he never knew they were sick. In his own words, he said: “I never knew that”
As God will permit it, both veterans died this year 2018. Super OD died on February 13, 2018, at the age 84, while Jewel Ackah died on April 27, 2018, at the age of 72.
In an interview in 2017 about his state of health, Jewel Ackah known for hit songs such as “Abena Ewo Hen”, “Araba”, “and Abena Ma Ware Wo” and the man who composed the anthem of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) said:
“I have been battling with stroke, leg pain and I mean so many things. I just give thanks to the almighty God for even bringing me this far. At first, I couldn’t walk nor speak. For now, I am able to walk a little but not all that good as compared to the first,” he said at the time.
After he condemned the NDC party of abandoning him, several philanthropists troop to his aid including the CEO of Zylofon Media who presented him with $10,000 to take care of his medical bills. But he, unfortunately, gave in to the sickness and old age yesterday 28th April 2018.
