The former British High Commissioner to Ghana, Jon Benjamin has yet again taken a swipe at Ghanaian actor John Dumelo in a latest post sighted on his Twitter page.

Mr Benjamin can be described as one of the notorious trolls on the Twitter space who does not spare any chance to tease others, hit back at his critics and share his unapologetic views on salient national issues.

During his time as a Commissioner to Ghana from 2014–2017, Jon Benjamin developed a penchant for mocking the movie star and politician after he was busted for attempting to steal a state-owned V8 Toyota Land Cruiser by respraying it.

Since then, the NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Ayawaso West Wagon Constituency has known no peace as he has been one of the public figures who have gravely suffered at the hands of Jon Benjamin.

In a new tweet, Mr Benjamin, as usual, poked fun at John Dumelo, who lost his bid for MP in the 2020 elections, saying his absence in parliament has made the legislation house boring.

His tweet was in reaction to broadcaster Serwaa Amihere’s disappointment in Members of Parliament over their failure to successfully approve or reject the 2022 Budget and Economy Policy at one shot.

While the Minority Caucus in Parliament had rejected the budget after the Majority sida staged a walkout on Friday, November 26, 2021 – the Majority side of Parliament on Wednesday, December 1, reversed the Minority’s rejection of the budget.

The development threw the House into a frenzy, with some Minority MPs attempting to seize the Speaker’s chair, which had been left vacant after the Speaker announced an hour suspension.
