The President of Ghana President Nana Akufo Addo yesterday in his address to the Nation against the fight of the deadly coronavirus announced that starting from tomorrow September 1st, all restriction on the airport has been lifted.
At a press briefing held at the Kotoka International Airport this morning, the deputy health minister Dr. Okoe Boye disclosed that each passenger coming into the country is supposed to pay an amount of $150 for a PCR test.
Dr Okoe Boye said that the cost of Ghana’s PCR test cost is less expensive compared to other countries.
He added that, it will take only 30 minutes for the result of the test to be known. This will mean that there will be no need to book hotel to be quarantined for days while waiting for the result which will also add up to the cost.
