The founder of Floodgate of Heavens Pastor Sylvester Ofori who is in the news for killing his ex-wife Barbara Tommey has appeared in court for the first time where it was revealed he was arrested in 2016 by the police.
According to the police, in 2016, the police was called to the residence of Sylvester and his late wife after they had a heated arguement which he ended up assaulting Barbara in the process.
The court was told that he resisted arrest when police came over to his house but he was later arrested and charged with resisting arrest by the court in 2016.
Pastor Ofori appeared before a federal judge in Florida to face charges of first degree murder.
Prosecutors read out charges against him and detailed the operation that lead to his arrest.

He is said to have tracked down his estranged wife and shot her in the back, then stood over her as she died and emptied more bullets into her body.
The pastor appeared in court in a facemask and stood quietly as if he has no idea about what he has gotten himself into and the repercussion it would have on him.
