Video: “VGMA board took ‘stupid money’ & gave him the award” -Patapaa fumes after losing the award

Patapaa the “One Corner ” hitmaker that many tipped to win the most popular song at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards but surprising lose out to Fancy Gadam has lashed out at the VGMA Board.

Undoubtedly, One Corner was the most popular song in the year under review and as such, many including the artist himself, Patapaa was expecting that if for nothing at all, he will go home with the Popular song of the year award at the just held VGMA 2018.

Well, just as we reported earlier, the Most Popular Song of the year went to Fancy Gadam featuring Sarkodie’s ‘Total Cheat’. And it’s mainly because he received the votes.

After Fancy Gadam’s Total Cheat was called as the winner, Patapaa angrily stormed out of the auditorium to express his displeasure with the turn of events.

Well, in his first interview with Joy News’ MzVee, Patapaa has accused the board of taking a bribe from Fancy Gadam. He angrily lashed out at the VGMA board.

Patapaa stated in the interview that the board should do their work and stop taking “Stupid Money” from people who do not deserve the award.
