Paul Adom Otchere has sued Captain Smart for defaming him on live TV.
The host of Metro TV’s “Good Evening Ghana” has dragged the ONUA TV employee to court for tagging him as a corrupt journalist during one of his shows.
According to Paul Adom Otchere, Captain Smart’s disparaging remarks have made him appear contemptible before his peers and other right-thinking persons.

In Paul Adom Otchere’s writ filed at the High Court; He demanded GH¢10 million as compensation for the damages caused to his reputation following Captain Smart’s false accusations against him.
He is also seeking an order from the court directing the defendants to retract and apologise for the comments “on all media platforms operated by the 2nd defendant” as well as an “injunction restraining the defendants from further publishing and causing to be published the said similar words defamatory of the plaintiff.”
Paul Adom Otchere and Captain Smart’s beef started after the latter described the former as a stomach and corrupt journalist for defending the current failed NPP government about three weeks ago.

Since then, the two ace journalists have rained heavy insults on each other on their various platforms.
