Efiewura is undoubtedly one of the TV series which has been showing on our screens for more than a decade and most of us will bear witness to that as we also maybe a fan of this interesting set of drama.

This landlord issue TV series started in Wayback 2001 and up to now it’s still running on our screens and it keeps getting better day in – day out.

Alas, some of the Efiewura crews who brought joy and happiness into our homes are no more here with us. As it is said, “Owuo nnim mani” death spares no one – not even the rich, the fame or the wealthy. Death has laid its cold hands on these actors.

Ace comedian and actor, John Evans Bosompem who was known in the movie industry as Bob Santo died in May 2002, at the West End Clinic in Kumasi due to illness. He was 67yrs. He was the Principal character in the series “Efiewura” meaning “Landlord”.


Interesting actress Margaret Quainoo, a.k.a Araba Stamp died on July 12, 2006, at the age of 70 after a short illness. She played the role of a gossiper in Efiewura TV series. She also featured in 1960’s popular movie “I Told U So” with Lord Bob Cole and much more.


Big belly Micheal Moncar passed away in 2013 at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital after suffering from a short illness. He was known for his character as “Akoto” in the popular TV series Efiewura.
