Beauty Pageant in Ghana has over the years produced outstanding ladies in our country who took on a project to help less deprived communities. We can talk of Miss Ghana, Miss Malaika, Ghana’s Most Beautiful and the lists goes on and on.

Most of these past queens of the various beauty pageant were admired by many but few got hold of them as their husband and life partner.

Surprisingly some of them are either still single or divorced but a number got married and even made their own families. Behind every beautiful queen, sometimes there is a man. And for most of them, these men are very strong personalities who strive to support their wives in every way they can.

The list below shows the popular figures in Ghana and beyond who tied the knot with these pageants we all admired.

The late member fo parliament for Abuakwa North in the Eastern Region Hon. Joeseph Boakye Danquah Adu married former beauty queen Ivy Heward Mills and they lived together until his untimely demise last year.

Mac Diamond Kodjo Emekor Nyamekor married Pearl Amoah who was Miss Universe Ghana 1996. He is one of Ghana’s finest MCs and TV presenters. He is also the CEO of D & P Holdings, which is a TV Production, Fashion, and Events outfit.

Dr. Kwaku Oteng and Sally Akua Amoakowaa Mensah

Akua GMB as she’s affectionately called won TV3’s Ghana’s Most Beautiful in 2011. According to reports Ghpage.com gathered, she isn’t the second or even the third but the fourth wife of Dr. Kwaku Oteng — The CEO of Angel group of companies and the business mogul who owns a chain of businesses in Ghana’s herbal medicines, beverages, and transport industries.

Akua, we are told, agreed to marry the man for nothing – but she is the General Manageress of the Angel Group’s owned Angel TV.

She has gotten so many opportunities after given birth to two strong boys(Male children the man had longed for) for Dr. Kwaku Oteng which she clearly doesn’t hide anyway
