Abedi Ayew born 5 November 1964, was professionally known as Abedi Pele, is a Ghanaian former footballer who played as an attacking midfielder and served as captain for Black Stars.

Abedi Pele was a member of the Black Stars squad that won Ghana’s last Africa Cup of Nations title in 1982 and won African Best player of the Year 3 consecutive times (1991, 1992, and 1993).

The Ghanaian football legend is a very good candidate for the presidency if he ever takes a decision to contest.
