The former Mayor of Accra, Alfred Oko Vanderpuije who also serves as the member of parliament for Ablekuma South Constituency recently tied the knot to his new wife.
The Accra Mayor and his new wife, Cynthia Amerley Ayiku had their traditional marriage ceremony at Mamprobi, a suburb of Accra.
The brief and colourful ceremony held on 4th December 2019 was attended by personalities from the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
This happens to be the second marriage of the former Accra Mayor after he lost his wife 7 years ago to a serious illness.
Alfred Oko Vanderpuije and his first wife were married for 30 years.

However, the white wedding of the couple will take place on 8th December 2019 at the Labone SDA church.
