Some aggrieved customers of Menzgold have been arrested by the police for attempting to set tires on fire to express their displeasure over the delay in the payment of their monies they have invested.
Since Menzgold started having problems with the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Bank of Ghana(BoG) several of their customers scattered across the country have trooped to their offices to withdraw their investment but had to return home because of various excuses they received from authorities in charge.

With Christmas just around the corner and the latest revelation by TV3’s Bridget Otoo where she alleged that Menzgold authorities are trying to evade arrest by asking the security authorities to provide the list of security personnel who have their monies locked up with them so they can pay.
Well, we don’t know what actually informed the decision of the aggrieved customers to go to the head office of Nana Appiah Mensah’s Menzgold since he had already closed down all branches and asked all his staff working with the bank to proceed on leave.
