However, the Vice President of the Student Representative Council, Micheal Kumodze in an interview refuted claims that the actress was arrested.

According to him, the police came to the school premises with popular movie producer Samuel Degraft to arrest Fella Makafui over a robbery case but she hadn’t arrived yet.

“AUCC is an institution and according to the laws of Ghana, there is no way you would go to an institution to arrest someone without a permit.

We didn’t hide Fella Makafui as it been circulated and no one was arrested because Fella Makafui wasn’t even at the school premises when the police arrived”, he disclosed.

Also, the manager of Fella Makafui disclosed that Samuel Degraft was rather arrested by policemen from the Police Headquarters as soon as he left the school premises on grounds of defamation.

According to Fella’s manager, they petitioned the Director General of CID because Fella has not engaged in any criminal activity.

He also debunked rumours that Fella Makafui was chased by police when she was invited as a guest speaker at the African University College and Communication.
