Police finally allows family of Takoradi girls to see their dead bodies

The Ghana police on Thursday, October 24, 2019, finally gave the families of the three Takoradi girls access to their morgue to see and identify the remains of their daughters.

According to a report by Joy News, it was a sad scene at the Police Hospital in Accra.

Mother of one of the girls, Priscilla Bentum, could not hold her tears, as she wept and cursed the police for failing to save her daughter.

The very angry mother also questioned the policeโ€™s failure to prosecute the suspects with dispatch months after their arrest.

Meanwhile, the families of the missing girls now declared dead rejected the bodies presented by the police because according to them the clothes and other belongings presented to them did not belong to their daughters.
