The Ghana police on Thursday, October 24, 2019, finally gave the families of the three Takoradi girls access to their morgue to see and identify the remains of their daughters.
According to a report by Joy News, it was a sad scene at the Police Hospital in Accra.
Mother of one of the girls, Priscilla Bentum, could not hold her tears, as she wept and cursed the police for failing to save her daughter.

Meanwhile, the families of the missing girls now declared dead rejected the bodies presented by the police because according to them the clothes and other belongings presented to them did not belong to their daughters.
The families were sent to the morgue following a meeting with the Inspector General of Police, James Oppong-Boanuh at the police headquarters in Accra.
The families amongst other things discussed the possibility to have access to the remains of their loved ones, to do a second DNA test to validate or otherwise of the police report.
