Embattled wife of Blackstars captain Asamoah Gyan, Gifty Gyan is begging the court not to grant to grant Baffour Gyan’s wish of conducting the DNA test in a private hospital which they are proposing.
Asamoah Gyan led by his brother Baffour Gyan requested that a DNA test is conducted on the three children of his younger brother to ascertain if truly he was indeed their father.
According to a source, even though Gifty is ready to allow her kids undergo the DNA test to prove that indeed the kids are all children of the captain, she is scared that the court granting them their wish of allowing a private hospital do the test could bring more harm than good.

“Although Gifty Gyan is afraid of what lies ahead for her kids, she is 100% sure all her three (3) have one father, and it is no other person than Asamoah Gyan, the same man she met in 2002 and married in 2013.
I don’t think she is afraid of the results. I escorted her to the airport when she was going back. She was just very down but on the DNA she seemed to be very sure of herself. She said she feels down because she is hurt by many things.”
The source also rubbished claims that Gifty was afraid the results of the DNA would go against her.

“It doesn’t mean she is afraid of the results. You know, she fears something can happen somewhere for the results to be tampered with if it is not done under strict supervision of trusted people like the government or someone who cannot be bribed or something like that… ?” he explained.
Asked whether Gifty’s family and the Gyan family have made attempts to solve the issues in the marriage, but it was revealed that all attempts to have a sitting has failed as one side always fails to turn up. It was not stated which side.
It was also alleged that Asamoah Gyan has also refused to talk to Gifty or the three children since August when he filed for an annulment in court.

So far, the DNA test which was supposed to take place on the 19th November, 2018 has been rescheduled on the request of Baffour Gyan, acting on the authority of his brother Asamoah Gyan.
They prayed the Court hearing the case of annulment of marriage between Asamoah and Gifty to postpone the date of the DNA Test because Asamoah Gyan had a “national assignment” for the Black Stars of Ghana against Ethiopia which will make him unavailable for the Test as the father.
A new DNA date is set to be fixed by the court as the Ghana-Ethiopia match ended with Gyan watching the match from the bench as his “national assignment”.
