A police officer at Inchaban station in the Sekondi Takoradi Metropolis has allegedly shot and killed a student of the Ghana Secondary Technical School (GSTS) and injured several.
The officer, Detective Adjei Shaibu after killing the victim, Lawrence Joe Baidoo, is alleged to have injured another student, Kwabena Dukpor.
It’s unconfirmed what might have triggered the police officers shooting spree but reports suggest he ha been detained.

According to a Starrfmonline.com report, the Sekondi Police Command led by Emmanuel Tetteh arrested the police officer after the incident happened on Friday.
The injured, Dukpor who sustained gunshot wounds is currently receiving treatment at the St. Benedict hospital at Inchaban while his friend’s body has been deposited at the Effia Nkwanta regional hospital for preservation and autopsy.
Meanwhile, the deceased who was 18 years of age was a final year student.
