Popular Nollywood actress Funke Akindele popularly known as Jenifa who nowhere to be found last weekend at the burial service of his biological father who passed on last year.
According to some reports, the actress was chilling with her friends in Dubai an act that made the Methodist Bishop presiding over the burial service angry.
The Bishop of the Diocese of Ikorodu, Rt. Rev Samson Osundina, expressed his disappointment that the actress and her siblings did not attend their father’s funeral.

Rt. Rev Samson Osundina explained that he is aware and can attest to the fact that Jenifa and her other siblings did well to take care of their late dad when he was alive but failing to show their last respect is something he doesn’t understand.
Due to that, the Bishop has suspended his Thanksgiving service indefinitely until Jenifa and her other siblings are free to attend.
Funke’s father Revd. Godwin Olusoji Akindele, died on Saturday, December 7, 2019, after a brief illness, aged 73.
His passing was even shared on the actress’s social media handles.
