The Royal Bank published a list of loan defaulters over the week and this list has one of Ghana’s finest movie Directors Shirley Frimpong Manso, her husband also a film-maker, Ken Attoh featured in it having defaulted their loan payment to The Royal Bank.
“This is a notice to the following Directors of Companies who have defaulted in their loan repayment to the Royal Bank Limited. The bank reserves the right to take any appropriate action to recover the debt owed,” the statement read.
The photos and names of the debtors were published in the Daily Graphic on Thursday (June 7, 2018) but the amount they owe was not disclosed. There were 15 others whose details were also published as part of the defaulters.

Shirley Frimpong Manso is an award-winning film, director, writer and producer. She’s the founder and CEO of Sparrow Productions.
She has produced and directed several hit movies and series including The Perfect Picture, A Sting In A Tale, and Adams Apples.
She married her then business partner, Ken Attoh in 2009 and they have a child together.
