Ghanaian actor John Dumelo in 2010 was reported by a Nigerian website, Nigeriafilms to have raped a housemaid in Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria where he shot a movie.

It was in the same report about Frank Raja’s rape allegation that John Dumelo’s who was a cast in the movie that Frank was directing. They were alleged to be on the run and their story was closely related.

Dumelo reacting to the story said:

“If it was true that I have gone to rape somebody in Nigeria like the story said, why is it that I am still walking freely in Ghana? Where is the girl? Who is she? Why are her parents or anybody from Nigeria not calling to ask me about it? “He kept asking.
